Every child in Angels “R” Wee Learning Center participates daily in periods of group activities, individual play, outdoor play, and quiet time. All activities are developmentally appropriate and meets each child’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs. Children are actively involved in relevant and engaging tasks. The imagination and curiosity of every child is valued. Angels “R” Wee Learning Center’s early childhood program is a hands-on. Infants listen to music, teachers read books to them. Children interact with teachers and playmates while maintaining their individual daily schedules.

Gross motor activities is provided through free choice activities and structured experiences. Fine motor development is fostered by a variety of hand-eye coordination activities. Toddlers up to and including preschool age are offered structured activities and varied play experiences as well as nurturing care.

While play is the primary tool used for a child to learn, emphasis is placed on developing, listening and reasoning skills as the basis for future academic achievement.

We use developmentally appropriate curriculum for all age groups.

The activities we plan for children, the way we organize the environment, select toys and materials, plan the daily schedule, and talk with children, are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give children a successful start in school.
